Aviation Strategy for Denmark
With its new aviation strategy, the Government wishes to strengthen the basis for the establishment of more routes and more daily departures to and from Denmark and within Denmark. This will increase Denmark’s national and international connectivity to the benefit of economic growth, employment and cohesion between regions.
Government Bonds to Finance Social Housing
Financing of social housing must be made cheaper and more transparent. The government therefore proposes that renovation and construction of social housing in the future shall be financed through the issuance of government bonds.
Reorganisation of the S-bane for driverless operation
In accordance with the agreement on metro, light rail, suburban rail lines and bicycles of 12th of June 2014, Ramboll Denmark, as main advisor together with associated international sub-consultants, conducted an investigation on the reorganisation of the S-bane to metro operation.
Tenders Invited for More Rail Routes
Today, the Government, (V, LA s K) has been given the backing of a broad majority in the Danish Parliament, (DF, S, RV, ALT and SF) to invite tenders for several more rail routes when a Re-invitation to Tender is issued for the present rail traffic in Central and West Jutland.
